14-Year-Old Girl Was Given Only 48 Hours To Live. 7 Years Later, THIS Is What She Looks Like Then and Now

At the young age of 14, Gemma Walker was diagnosed with both anorexia nervosa and bulimia. These two severe eating disorders are not to be taken lightly, and in Gemma’s case, were life threatening. The teen weighed a tiny 63lbs (28kg), or 4.5 stone, forcing her devastated parents to consider palliative care.

Weighing in at a mere 63lbs at the age of 14, Gemma’s parents were told by doctors that she would have only 48 hours to live if she didn’t receive immediate medical intervention.
Over the next 7 years she was in and out of hospital, being admitted for both emergency and psychiatric care. Now 22-years-old, Gemma has posted pictures showing her at her lowest weight to celebrate six months of being well.
